Giveaway : Nomad Footwear, item of your choice (ends 2/15)

Today marks the very first day of our Brixton Street ♥ You event!  All this month we will be featuring some of our favorite brands along with a little extra perk… a daily giveaway for an item (or two) that we’ve selected specifically with you in mind.

Our first brand feature for the month is Southern California based Nomad Footwear, woo hoo!

Nomad Footwear first caught our eye with their huge selection of boots, especially their adorable assortment of rainboots that come in both solid colors and print designs.

Nomad kindly sent Brixton Street a pair of their “Puddles” rainboots ($50) to try out.  The Puddles rainboots are constructed from waterproof rubber, have a 1/2 inch heel, and are available in a variety of prints- ours came in the “Black Tea Flower” print, which is a very cute black and pink cherry blossom design.  I have to say that even though the boots are cute in the stock photos they do really look even more awesome in person!

The boots have a durable, strong sole and an overall construction that is surprisingly lightweight and flexible- a breeze to walk around in!  The calves are nice and roomy, allowing you to slip on the boots with ease over pants, thick socks, etc.  The boots also have a cute, functional buckle at the top to tighten up any excess material.   On their website Nomad suggests ordering a size down and that is exactly what I did- I’m normally a size 6 but picked up a 5 and it was perfect fit.

If you aren’t in the mood for boots, Nomad’s selection of footwear extends beyond boots to other types of footwear.. from sandals to heels to ballerina flats to children’s footwear and more, the range of products is quite extensive.
