Unfortunately for me, there are some gorgeous Spring outfits that I just can’t wear… because they are made for bears. Whaaaa?
Zylie the Bear is perhaps the world’s most fashionable little bear. This jet setting, globe trotting fashionista has me totally jealous of her amazing lifestyle. A glamorous life , gorgeous wardrobe, award winning and pretty too? *Shakes fists in a jealous rage*
All kidding aside, Zylie the Bear (ages 3 and up, $75 at ZylieTheBear.com) is one of my favorite cute up and coming toys. Whether you’re a parent looking for some adorable play toys for your children, a collector of all things plush, a collector of all things teddy bear, or just an admirer of cute things in general, Zylie the Bear is a great piece.
I can talk about this plush for hooours, but I really think pictures speak louder than words- take a gander!
Comes packaged in a box which you can re-use later for storage:

Cutest little clothing details, awwww!
Ah, a plush to melt even the coldest of hearts!
In a nutshell, Zylie the Bear is a cuddly 18″ plush that is a companion piece to a fun series of books for children. In the book series, Zylie and her friends have adventures around the world, making some new international friends in the process. The books are great for kids because they are not only cute, but contain bits of education information such as vocabulary, geography, and history.
Another cool thing about the plushes is that although they come with a “starter” outfit, book and accessories, you can purchase additional outfits for your plush for $20 each, giving the figures a “doll-like” quality and a feature that kids will really enjoy.
Here are just a few of the outfits you can dress Zylie (and her friends) up in:
The quality of the plush is great (super soft and durable) and the 18″ size is perfect for kids to cuddle. The plush also has jointed legs and arms so they are somewhat posable as well. Personally, my favorite aspect of the piece is the great face on the bear, super sweet with a little smile- aw! The quality of the outfit designs are impressive as well- even though this is a piece designed for children, a lot of care obviously went into making the clothing very stylish and up to date.
In addition to Zylie, the makers of Zylie the Bear also offer Zylie’s cute friend Shen The Panda. Shen comes dressed in a leather jacket, khakis and green tee-shirt. His accessories are a backpack, passport and drum sticks. He seems pretty cool, I would totally befriend him too.
Which plush is your favorite (I mean, if it were even possible to choose just one favorite ;))? This month we have one of these adorable plush dolls to give away to a lucky Brixton Street reader! Keep it for yourself, or pass it along to your favorite girl or boy… either way Zylie & Shen make an amazing gift.
