Alexander Calder has always been one of my favorite artists, so whether or not a mobile is actually designed for adults (and they usually aren’t) you can count on me to be intrigued.
One of my favorite decor finds as of late : the beautiful birch wood baby mobiles from The Modern Baby Company. The mobiles combine a simplicity and elegance (which adults will love) with a whimsical cuteness perfectly suited for children and babies. A beautiful delicate balance that seems all to rare in this day and age!
In addition to the gorgeous mobiles, the company also offers other baby friendly decor. The adorable 5″ x 7″ mini art cards ($10 each, frames not included) will provide a cute, colorful, and very affordable, touch to any nursery.
If you dig the artwork, also be sure to check out the company’s line of onesies as well (currently sold out but hopefully will reemerge soon). The apparel features the same artwork as the art cards and would make an adorable paring as a gift for a new baby!
